ViSalus products do not need to be approved by the FDA, as they are nutritional supplements and not drugs. We do, however, have an attorney that works with the FDA . His role is to notify the FDA of our products being sold on the market, and ensures that we legally comply with all labeling and marketing rules and guidelines as set forth by the FDA.

We have no egg in the shake. We use whey, but not caseine protein or lactose, which are common allergies from dairy.
